We are absolutely stoked to co-present the Berlin premiere of “Eno”, Gary Hustwit’s new generative documentary film. Join us for one of two screenings on January 14th and a post-film conversation with director Gary Hustwit and digital artist Brendan Dawes after the 6:30pm show, moderated by Marc Thiele.

Visionary musician and artist Brian Eno — known for producing David Bowie, U2, Talking Heads, among many others, pioneering the genre of ambient music and releasing over 40 solo and collaboration albums — reveals his creative processes in this groundbreaking generative documentary: a film that’s different every time it’s shown.

“Eno” utilises a first-of-its-kind generative software system developed by Hustwit and Brendan Dawes to combine new interviews with Eno’s rich archive of hundreds of hours of never-before-seen footage and unreleased music. Each screening of “Eno” is unique, presenting different scenes, order, music, and meant to be experienced live in a cinema.

The film will be shown in English without subtitles.
